Do I need to be home during the cleaning? +
Most of our clients provide access with a lockbox or key. Your cleaner is background-checked and fully insured, so you can be out while we work. We'll text you when we arrive and when we're done.
Do your cleaners bring their own supplies? +
Yes! All equipment and cleaning products are included in your price. If you have a preference for specific products or want us to use your supplies, just let us know in the booking notes.
How are your cleaners vetted? +
Every Spotless SF cleaner goes through a thorough background check, identity verification, and a multi-step interview process. We also conduct in-home quality checks to maintain our standards. Only the top 15% of applicants join our team.
What if something gets damaged? +
We carry full liability insurance covering any accidental damage. In the rare event something is damaged, contact us within 24 hours and we'll handle it directly, no runaround, no hassle.
Can I request the same cleaner each time? +
Absolutely. On any recurring plan, we prioritize sending the same cleaner every visit. Once you find someone you love, we'll make sure they're your go-to. Most of our recurring clients have had the same cleaner for over a year.
How far in advance do I need to book? +
We often have same-week availability. For best selection, we recommend booking 3–5 days in advance. For move-out or post-renovation cleans, 1–2 weeks ahead is ideal. We'll always try to accommodate last-minute requests.
What is your cancellation policy? +
24+ hours notice — Full refund, no charge.
Less than 24 hours notice — 50% cancellation fee applies.
No-shows (we arrive and are unable to access the space) — Full charge applies.
